MNEMIC: New Album To be Produced By PETER TÄGTGREN

September 20, 2005

Danish modern metallers MNEMIC have commenced work on material for their third album, which is untitled at the moment. "The band is full motion writing the new material and it’s coming along as butter on bread!" the group write in a press release.

"The new album will be produced by someone in Sweden who happens to be one of the most acclaimed frontmen/producers in the metal world today. And yes, he happens to live in the Abyss, and his name is Peter Tägtgren (HYPOCRISY, PAIN). Mixing duties would come from another legend which we'll tell you all about very soon — now go spread them rumors!"

MNEMIC — who recently enlisted Swedish vocalist Tony Jelencovich (formerly of TRANSPORT LEAGUE and B-THONG) to replace departed frontman Michael Bøgballe —will be teaming up with MESHUGGAH, GOD FORBID and THE HAUNTED for a North American tour beginning in early October.

MNEMIC are continuing to tour in support of their sophomore album, "The Audio Injected Soul", which was released in September 2004 via Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Mechanical Spin Phenomena" was recorded at AntFarm Studios in Aarhus, Denmark with producer Tue Madsen.
